Pepa Palazón

Pepa Palazón is a tango teacher, dancer, and musician. She graduated from the Superior Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires with a degree in Tango and Folklore. Her specialty is teaching music to tango dancers through Musical Audioperception—learning music through perception and movement.

Her musicality classes are 100% practical. Through dance, she explores the verticality of music: studying the different musical lines that coexist in tango. Once dancers learn to hear these lines, they can choose which one to follow—and how to interpret it in movement.

She guides students to separate those lines and teaches, with dance and concrete musical examples, the essential rhythmic and melodic elements of traditional tango orchestras.
